"Birkat Habeit", Blessing of The House by Devora Jaron

It is a Jewish tradition to adorn the entrance of the house with this beautiful universal blessing. We present here a version by contemporary Israeli sculpture Devora Jaron. It is an artistic creation combining traditional symbols with modern elements, using electroforming process of sterling silver. It is Inscribed in Hebrew as follows (English translation): Blessing of the Home No sorrow shall enter this gate No curse shall enter this space No panic shall enter this door No quarrel shall render this kin This place shall be blessed with peace ~ The plaque measures 5”W x 5 ½” H. ~ This unique artwork should be treated with care and not be exposed to extreme heat. Dropping it can cause dents. The high gloss can always be quickly restored by gentle buffing with a silver cloth. ~ Made in Israel.
